Or, are they the same thing? Because having the US armed forces declare war on 2000 hillbillies in Afghanistan doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Is it necessary to include the Iraq occupation in that equation in order to secure funding for the War on Terror?

How do Conservatives feel about Republican Alan Greenspan’s statement that the war in Iraq was about oil?

Greenspan is also severely critical of President’s economic competence in his memoir which is out today.
The Bush administration has always insisted the war had nothing to do with oil.
